– serendipity is the act of finding beneficial things by chance, or in making desirable discoveries without searching
– this site is designed to offer some, hopefully, serendipitous wisdom to the younger people in my family as they encounter this complex world
– wisdom cannot be passed around between us easily, because experience is a key component; but the tools can be practiced to increase the learning curve, and help each other discover it within ourselves
– simplified, de-emphasised, insights, observations and quotes from both well known and ordinary people
– the idea is to quiet yourself, open your mind and wait for the words to settle; they may be useful, or they may not
– provocative, tame, charming, irritating, profound or contradictory; who knows what you might get and whether it’s timely
– it’s a bit of a lottery, just like life
– the suggestion is: limited exploring with time for reflection, rather than on-the-move binge clicking
– so when you are feeling ready to receive the hidden words, perhaps you just click each category once
– it can repeat itself due to the algorithm, but keep seeking a little every day and there are almost 1000 to chance upon
– add the pib site link to your phones home screen and then it works a bit like an app
– apologise in advance for any errors, missed attributions and perceived preaching
– this endeavour is dedicated to Jack, Noah, Frida, Lola, Dexter, Noel & Sam
